Once upon a time on a warm sunny June day in South Florida a young man was anchored up on his small skiff at the notorious peanut island, he was enjoying a ice cold refreshment, waiting for the falling tide to expose the sand bar, when all of a sudden he heard the sound of a distant cry for help! As he glanced over to the east he noticed an entire family being stripped away from their boat and getting swept out to sea in a strong outgoing current! The young man knew he must take action! Quickly splicing two ropes together and pulling his anchor he drove to the family and offered assistance threw them a rope and towed them back to their vessel. After a multi lingual exchange of thankyous the feeling of accomplishment became the young man! And the tide had fallen just enough, it was finally time to head to the sandbar to meet up with friends. He couldn’t help but notice that this falling tide felt special.
All the while just a few hundred yards away at the “peanut island sandbar” the most beautiful fare maiden of all the land was enjoying a lovely day with her friends at the sandbar, but little did she know her captain was not paying attention to this falling tide at all, the same currents that just a few hundred yards away was sweeping a small family out to sea, will change her life forever.
As the young man made his way to the sandbar the he couldn’t help but notice this young lady, from almost a quarter mile away prancing about in her blue bikini this feeling of extreme attraction caused him to pull his skiff up only a few yards away from her mooring. It was at this time the captain of her vessel had realized the outgoing tide had fallen so low his vessel was beached! High and dry! He had no other option but to put his all female crew to work!
As he revved the outboard engine in reverse and simultaneously yelled to his girls “push!!” The boat did not budge!
Watching from a short distance away, it didn’t take long for this young man to realize his second act of kindness for the day bestowed him. He ran over in a “Baywatch” fashion and with a bead of sweat on his brow and a fire in his heart he got into a three point stance and give the boat and the girls the incredible heave they needed to get off the sandbar!
The girls and their captain relived with joy that this falling tide had not caused catastrophe, the young man was not finished. He knew this falling tide felt different.
Just like the tide he was also outgoing and he knew he had to try and talk to the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on but before he could speak she looked at him and said three simple words.
“So what’s up”
Taken back with shock and mild confusion the young man checked behind him to make sure she wasn’t talking to someone else, but indeed she was talking to him. Their conversation went on an led to an exchange of phone numbers which has now lead to 6 years love stronger than any current. And adventure more outgoing than any tide!
No this falling tide was different, because that hot summer day in June the tide wasn’t the only thing that was falling. This outgoing young man and this beautiful woman had fallen in love.
